Newton Witter is a freshman literature major at UT Dallas from Lake Dallas, Texas. When he’s not reading a book in the dorms or writing a new short story, you can find him taking unreasonably long walks on campus and in the surrounding areas. He hopes to one day be an author following in the footsteps of great writers like Jason Pargin and Brandon Sanderson, but for now, he’s focused on helping The Mercury make as big of an impact as possible!
