Deeya Kameshetty is a sophomore at UT Dallas from Frisco, Texas, and is enthusiastic about joining The Mercury as a staff writer. When she isn’t in class or working as a CNA and pharmacy technician she can usually be found reading multiple book series at once. She is currently diving into dystopian and mystery novels like The Hunger Games and Poison Study. Deeya is looking forward to contributing to the campus community and uncovering interesting stories.
