<strong>Sept. 2</strong>
A non-affiliated person was arrested at Waterview Park (WP) for three outstanding warrants from the Plano Police Department.
UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in WP. Investigation revealed it to be a false alarm.
<strong>Sept. 3</strong>
A staff member discovered graffiti on a study desk near the Academic Computer Center in Jonsson Hall.
A student reported a burglary of a motor vehicle in Lot B. A car stereo and components were stolen from the vehicle. Forced entry into the vehicle caused damage. There was also damage to the vehicle’s alarm system, console and dashboard.
A staff member reported a suspicious person and possible harassment in the Student Union. UTD Police responded, but were unable to locate the suspicious person decribed as a black male, about six feet tall and with a heavy build.
<strong>Sept. 4</strong>
UTD Police responded to a complaint of a solicitation in WP. A non-affiliated person was issued a criminal trespass warning citation.
<strong>Sept. 5</strong>
UTD Police responded to a fire alarm pull station in WP. Investigation revealed it to be a false alarm.
UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint at a residence in WP. Two students were issued campus citations for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Incident referred to the Dean of Students.

<strong>Sept. 7</strong>
A student reported a burglary of a motor vehicle at WP. Forced entry was made into the vehicle causing damage. A radar detector was stolen from the vehicle.
A student was arrested for driving while license invalid on Lookout Drive, after being stopped for a traffic violation. The student was issued a municipal court citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
A student reported criminal mischief damage to a vehicle at WP.
<strong>Sept. 8</strong>
A parking controller located a vehicle displaying a stolen parking permit. UTD Police identified and contacted the owner of the vehicle. A campus citation for fraud was issued to the student.
<strong>Sept. 10</strong>
A student reported receiving harassing communications (phone calls and emails) at WP.
A contractor reported the theft of a sub-pump from the worksite between the Student Union and the UTD Bookstore.
A staff member discovered graffiti at the Student Union. UTD Police discovered similar graffiti at several other locations on campus.
<strong>Sept. 11</strong>
UTD Police responded to a loud noise complaint at a residence in WP. A non-affiliated male was issued a court citation for consumption of alcohol by a minor.
<strong>Sept. 13</strong>
A student reported the theft of a purse from an unattended table at a fourth floor study area. The stolen purse contained: a wallet, driver license, social security card, credit cards and two mobile phones.
