Soccer enthusiasts are invited to watch a livestream of the U.S. vs. Belgium match at the Student Union Green from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, July 6. This match follows the U.S. team’s 2-0 win on July 1 over Bosnia and Herzegovina and its advancement to the Round of 16.
This event is co-hosted by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Student Affairs, with additional collaboration from Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Student Wellness Center, Intercultural Programs, UREC and Student Media.
Soda, food and snacks will be provided to attendees free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis, so organizers recommend arriving at the pre-game show from 6 to 7 p.m. Arriving for the pre-game show allows attendees to enjoy amenities before watching the match on the 300-inch screen.
Soccer fanatics can enter a giveaway raffle on-site, with winners to be announced during halftime. Additionally, UREC will be providing cornhole, Spikeball and 9 Square to watch party attendees.
This event is completely free and open to the public. Attendees should bring blankets and chairs for a comfortable viewing experience.
